What to Expect

Campers will enjoy a variety of weekly themed programs, including:

Each week is designed to support confidence, friendships, and positive camp experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

1:1 Support Policy

  • 1:1 support is available for campers who require additional assistance, for a maximum of 2 weeks per camper. 
  • If 1:1 support cannot be provided by Abilities Centre staff, external support is allowed, provided the support worker has a verified Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC). 
  • No personal care support is provided by Abilities Centre staff; parents/guardians or external support workers are responsible for supporting these needs.

Kids Camps

Abilities Centre Summer Camp welcomes children ages 5 to 12 of all abilities from June 29 to August 21. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and offers an inclusive environment filled with fun, movement, creativity, and opportunities to build friendships. Activities are adapted to meet individual needs. Register early, as spots fill quickly.

Summer of 2026 Schedule

Week 1: Summer Blast
June 29 to July 3 (No Camp July 1)
Kick off the summer with classic camp fun, games, and activities that get everyone moving and making new friends.

Week 2: Sportsmania
July 6 to 10
Explore a variety of sports and physical activities focused on skill development, teamwork, and inclusive play.

Week 3: Mystery Week (Inclusion Week)
July 13 to 17
Designed to support campers who benefit from a more structured and inclusive environment. Features lower staff to participant ratios, sensory friendly activities, gym games, crafts, and access to sensory spaces.

Week 4: Little Adventurers (Ages 5 to 8)
July 20 to 24
Perfect for younger campers, focusing on imaginative play, exploration, and adventure based activities.

Week 5: Stage & Studio: Lights, Camera, Action
July 27 to 31
Campers step into the spotlight with performance based games, drama, storytelling, and creative expression.

Week 6: Discovery Week (Ages 5 to 8)
August 4 to 7 (Short Week)
Explore exciting themes such as space, under the sea, jungles, deserts, and the Arctic through hands on activities and games.

Week 7: Olympics / Paralympics
August 10 to 14
Celebrate movement, sport, and inclusion with Olympic and Paralympic inspired activities emphasizing participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Week 8: Spirit Week
August 17 to 21
End the summer with themed spirit days, games, and activities celebrating creativity, camp pride, and friendships.

Camp Refund Policy

  • Cancel before May 30, 2026 100% refund
  • Cancel before June 22, 2026 50% refund
  • Cancel after June 22, 2026 No refund will be given
