Abilities Centre Featured in CP24 and CTV News Segment Series for National Accessibility Week
In honour of National Accessibility Week, Abilities Centre partnered with Bell Media to share a series of five short vignettes that aired daily on CP24 and CTV News from Monday, May 25, through Saturday, May 30.
Throughout the week, each vignette explored a different facet of accessibility and inclusion. From the experiences of athletes and the importance of inclusive sport, to the built environment and what it means to design spaces with everyone in mind, to inclusive gym and fitness instruction, the series highlighted the many ways accessibility shows up in everyday life. Together, the videos painted a fuller picture of what true inclusion looks like and the community working to build it.
