Abilities Centre Featured in CP24 and CTV News Segment Series for National Accessibility Week

The series kicked off with a live on-air interview featuring President and CEO Michael Cvitkovic, Manager of Training and Education Mubina Jaffer, and Manager of Marketing and Communications Matisse Hamel-Nelis, who together set the stage for the week of storytelling ahead. Their conversation introduced viewers to Abilities Centre, the work happening across the organization, and the people and partnerships that make it possible.

Throughout the week, each vignette explored a different facet of accessibility and inclusion. From the experiences of athletes and the importance of inclusive sport, to the built environment and what it means to design spaces with everyone in mind, to inclusive gym and fitness instruction, the series highlighted the many ways accessibility shows up in everyday life. Together, the videos painted a fuller picture of what true inclusion looks like and the community working to build it.
