Training and Education
Building Communities Where Everyone Belongs
Creating a truly accessible and inclusive community does not happen by accident. It takes knowledge, intention, and the right tools. Abilities Centre’s Training and Education programs are designed to give individuals and organizations across Ontario exactly that.
Our training and education initiatives are grounded in the principles of universal design and evidence-based best practice, and built with the voices of people with lived experience at the centre. We use co-design and co-development in everything we create, because the most effective inclusion strategies are the ones shaped by the people who have navigated barriers firsthand.
At Abilities Centre, we believe in transformational change, not just awareness. Our goal is to help individuals and organizations move beyond good intentions and develop the practical skills, strategies, and mindset needed to build genuinely accessible, genuinely inclusive communities for all Canadians.
